Undergraduate research assistant Hate Hruby (Environmental   Science major/Oceanography and Biophysics minors, 鈥�16) and James Vesenka, Ph.D., professor of physics, wrote a peer reviewed article that was recently accepted for publication by The North American Geogebra Journal, a publication dedicated to mathematical and physical geometry simulations.

 鈥淓xploring Conservation of Momentum in Inelastic and Elastic Collisions and Explosions鈥� offers a  novel way to describe one-dimensional, two-object collisions in terms of the  areas of velocity versus mass.
