Georgette Sutton exhibits quilts at ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ’s Biddeford Campus Center

An exhibition of quilts by Georgette Sutton will be on display at the ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ’s Biddeford Campus Center through March 5.

Sutton has been quilting since 1987 and is a member of the Evergreen Quilters Guild of Kennebunk.

A longtime member of the ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ community, Sutton moved to Hills Beach in 1954 with her husband, the late Bill Sutton, who served the University as a faculty member and as dean of men for 29 years, collectively. Sutton, 88, has been employed by ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ as the phone operator since 1983.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. ÃÛÌÒTVÊÓƵ’s Campus Center is located at 11 Hills Beach Road, Biddeford, Maine. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For more information, contact Diane Noble by email or phone (207-284-6394).
